So what did Evan Invent besides this silly book?

During his work at Sony he has two patents

Patent #US-10355516-B2

I dreamed this device could be used for countries that don't have a reliable electric power grids, to help people keep their cell phones charged. Its a "Self-chargeable portable electronic device with a compact power generating circuitry for charging a rechargeable battery." Every time you physically move your phone it would charge the battery.

The second patent # US-8144948-B2 was designed for Opertaing Rooms. Designed to adress the need to share captured surgical images automatically from a hospital OR to a network or wireless network device. The dream was to be able record a surgical proceedure and have it accessable to patient and surgeon. This was created in 2007 before iPhones and wireless networks were common in hospitals systems.
